Oh the Russel Brand lookie likie on that Confused thing is a proper tool in a 'Look at me I'm zany and wacky, someone is bound to give me my own show so I can stop working at PC World' sort of a way. Just had two terrible ads on Dave - first one for some comedian I've never heard of's (Dave Spikey?) DVD and the other for yet another cash for gold scam.

Assuming the comedy DVD uses the best material to rope people in the rest must be truly dire.

EDIT make that three - the other was the driving instructor college thing!

I mute all ad and trailer breaks as a matter of policy. I was only when the sound was left on inavdertantly that I heard the audio of one of the car adverts "We all need a little excitement in our lives... our car looks like it's moving when it's standing still..." No, your car looks a if someone has dropped a skip on the roof and given the rest of it a good beating with the Ugly Stick.

Well through careful use of sky+ and planning your schedule it's possible to limit your TV advert watching to almost zero... I love sky+

No they are freaking not. It doesn't exist and your product is awful anyway.

Anything to do with fussy cats - don't feed them for a week and they'll be a damn site less fussy about what you feed them!

I can't recall which of the commercial radio stations it was but when they had live football they would play an ad immediately after a goal was scored that either went "yes yes yes Blah blah blah) or "Oh Noooo Blah blah blah" I can't even recall what the ads were for but I do know I went out of my way to avoid the product and after two live games went out of my way to avoid the radio station - prefering to miss my team than put up with fake support / sympathy. Bar Stewards.

Mind you, I think I hate adverts in general as they appeal to the base vanity and celebrity obsessed world we now exist in. Exist being the operative word
