same thing happened to me two years ago - a present for the wife didn;t turn up - but it was claimed had been delivered.

I phoned the company up - and tried to find out where the delivery had been made - it was ambiguous and they hadn't taken a signature so I demanded that they deliver a new product as I hadn;t received it.

You just have to keep on them until they give up and admit it was either their error - or postal service error - in which case their insurance will cover them and they can send you a new delivery.

There was another one - where postman left it on the doorstep when I was out and it got nicked. The company were pretty good about that tbh and sent out a new one right away.

you have rights you know. 8)

I reckon your contract is with Wiggle, so you should pursue them. However if Citylink have delivered it, they'll have a signature for it recorded on one of their nice little digital gizmos or on paper. Ask them to show you the evidence of delivery?

Wiggle were very good with my failed delivery at the beginning of the year. Get on the phone to them or email and they will get onto it pretty sharpish IME.

Wiggle are using next day courier whilst the mail strike is on - if you go into your account at Wiggle and go into the order, you'll be able to track the order and see the signature.

I had a delivery from them this week though - they didn;t even knock the door, and put the parcel behind a plant pot outside, which luckily my wife noticed on her way out. I looked online and the signature just said "SAFE".

If it says delivered online and it's not there, contact Wiggle.

  • They've got 30 days to get the items delivered properly – even if the original package went to the wrong address or got stolen or whatever – or offer you a refund; if after that time they still haven't got the stuff to you, you can demand a refund.

If you paid with a credit card (i.e. not a debit card though) and the value of the order was more than £100, then the credit card company is equally liable and you can opt to claim the money back from them instead. They will then pursue the seller themselves to recover the money.
  • Have e-mailed Wiggle and waiting for them to come back to me.
I have looked at the order tracker and it just says delivered but cant access the POD to see if anyone signed for it, I have checked with the neighbours and they don't have it .

I just need it quick as it is my Winter Bibs and its bloody cold in the mornings now!!

Vouchers are sorted, Wiggle mail them to the person that bought them and they are meant to forward them on (Strange way of doing things) and if you have relatives that dont read there mails properly they just sit there

  • City Link do have a reputation for patchy reliability. One of my work colleagues frequently refers to them using the Sean Connery pronunciation of the company's name.

  • Sat in for three days, nip to the post box to post some documents i had to get out, you guessed got back and a little card from City Link!!!

Now got to go to the depot and collect as they reckon they have tried twice to deliver which is total rubbish,

Hey Ho at least the kit is within range now. No word from Wiggle though

  • Keep a look out for a pack of Haribo in the box. Hadnt ordered from them in ages and got a £5 voucher so I had a look and found some bits I "needed". They sent the 2 items seperately as they didnt have both in stock. I never got sweeties from them when I was ordering monthly but got packs in both deliveries this time. Well chuffed with my freebies until I noted that it says 10p on the front of the pack
  • I had a parcel delivered to college because there is a manned lodge so things always get signed for. The parcel arrived opened, but nothing missing. Apparently the guy came in with the parcel and said that the porters should have a look, "really good stuff in there" apparently. A little peeved at that, trust the porters explicitly though, known them for years and not had one hint of trouble with anything else.
  • Glorious autumn sunshine all day, no work to do until tomorrow and so of course the courier who is due to deliver the package today (who left the depot at 8.34 according to tracker website) arrives just as it is getting dark.

No chance of a few hours out in the lanes now until the weekend (when it will no doubt be raining).

Still, I can console myself with the unpacking and assembly of a new single speed machine.

This reminds me of the time I had an SJS order delivered to my Mrs's workplace. Amazingly even though I was 50 miles away, I signed for it, using a signature I never use. Noone at her place saw the parcelfarce driver, but the package was left in a doorway.
  • Finally I have my package!!!
50 mile round trip to the depot, hard conversation with a monkey who said it wasn't there when he actually just could not be arsed to look!

Ah well now i get to do it all again as I have Wiggle vouchers.

Just seen a mate of mine who said he had a parcel from City Link delivered last week and as he wasnt in they decided to throw it over his gate into back gardem,
It was once a very nice crystal light fitting!
