Need buddies in Sunderland/ Durham area

Hi, I live in Sunderland and work in Durham - am desperately looking for some girlie riding friends!
Ride a lot with boyfriend and our friends (all men) and they are great to ride with but would like a few days of non testosterone filled rides.

i'm at uni in Durham and interested in doing a bit more mountain biking. i've only taken it up recently so i'm not fantastic, so would be good to go for a chilled out ride, although if your used to riding with guys i'm sure i wont be much of a match! i'm really keen to find some routes around durham aswell that don't include much on a road, so you might know a few?
