Sorry for yet another wheel post, i've been using the search option but its a bit needle ina haystack, anyway, i'm in the market for a set of wheels max budget £150 from my research the best value with regards to weight is the planet x model b, however whilst searching in this forum the most popular suggestions are for either mavic aksiums or fulcrum racing 5, am i missing the point as both these carry about 100g weight penalty over the px's. Opions please. Thanks.

Sounds like you should not be worrying about weight that much. I'd recommend more spokes and good hubs, such as Shimano hubs on Velocity Deep V or similar rims. They'll hold up for years and years.

I have Evo 5's, weighed 23 stone when I got them, done 2000 miles on em, now weigh 19 stone, still as true as the day I got them.

You can get some hand builts for £150.
Make sure you get good quality spokes, bladed ones are expensive if the break and hard to get hold of.
