2010 Trek 6500

I just ordered a 2010 Trek 6500 :-) I tried one out at lunch time today and fell in love with it. I've been looking at the 09's for a while or maybe an 09 6700 but the price was a bit steep. Has anyone out here seen any reviews on the 2010 6500 yet? I know its too late now, since i already ordered the 2010, but I thought i'd ask anyhow... hopefully i didnt buy a bad bike.

    how much did you pay for it? i thought the 6700 was only £50 more?

    The 09 6700 was about $50 more than the 2010 6500... The 2010 6500 lists here in canada for about $1299 but they knocked almost 10% off. I guess it boiled down to personal preference for me. I liked the new 2010 frame over the old one... I figure if in a few years some of the parts wear out, I can always do some upgrades later :-)

    i agree the new 2010 models look a lot better than the 2009 models, they also ride a lot nicer too, i bought my 6700 2010 model a couple of weeks ago and i'm more than happy with it :D

    Congrats on the 2010 6700 - To me that was another $180 more than the 2010 6500 so I didnt want to spend any more money. Considering I told my wife I wanted to buy a new bike for around $700 I went way over budget already, but hopefully it was the right choice :-)
