crud catcher on meta 5

i ihave a meta 5 and wanna fasten a crud catcher on the down tube but it has metal cable ties on it, so the catcher doesnt fit properly.

how do i over come this??

i know doddy has one on his 08 meta

    Stretch the little rubber rings a little bit and it gives it some le-way.
    i managed fine on my 09 meta.
    you do often find yourself adjusting during ride though.
    i wouldnt recomend, neo-guard works better as i have now discovered

    Crud catchers are glorified crap mudguards ...


    That are pish ,, If you have any idea on how a mudguard should be like I suggest you pay a visit to your local transport museum ...

    DOes a fine job of keeping most of the crud outta my face. Went out yesterday with out it and got caked. I'm not bothered about getting filthy, but its an issue when you're wearing specs
