My son has an Orange P7 with Fox Vanilla Forks and Fire XC Pro tyres.
He has recently found that on mid and low speed corners he is losing the front wheel.

Could anyone please give us some ideas how we could correct this. Alternativly is there a web site that we could go to for ideas on bike setup?

Yours David

Could be tyre pressure, what's he running.

Is the shock set up properly.

If these are correct is a matter of getting the right weight onto the front tyre in corners.
Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"
  • Could be lots of things, How does he feel riding the bike postion wise ?

Check the stem lenght, A short term fix may be to bring the seat forward if not already at it's furthest.

sounds more like a newish bike and the need to learn new riding skills.

fork. set the sag to the required setting. shock set the sag to the required setting. set the rebound so the rider does not get bounced off.
