OT - Nokia N86, Sony W995, or Sony C903?

Anyone got any experience of the above mobiles? Upgrade is due, and current N95 is looking a bit tired. I like the idea of the 8mb camera on the Nokia and the W995 but they'll cost me £100 to upgrade, the C903 is free with a 5mb camera. Also the N86 looks quite bulky - even more so than my N95.
Any horror stories/preferences on any of these before I commit?

Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

son had a C902, I've got a C905 and both have been unreliable buggy pieces of Cr@p.
I've had Sonys for 10+ years and have never had problems with any before but their latest offerings seem to be poorer build quaity, rushed to market half built and prone to repeat failures.
I want the repairers to pay half my contract since we've got a 50:50 deal on having the phone.
I'd look on the mobile operator frums rather than a bike forum tho to get the real gen on other peoples experiences of them to live with.0 -
W995 looks lovely - was tempted to upgrade to one myself.0

w995 is good, had it about 4 months now.
Slightly wishing I'd got an iPhone though...0 -

Funnily enough, the iPhone is the one that I definitely don't want. My wife has one - the camera's only 2mp, internet connection slow, and bulky. She loves it though.Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos0 -
One advantage of the N86 is that you can download and use Sportstracker. Excellent app for recoding details of your rides :-) Dont know if the SE's have something similar.
I have an N85, work at a mobile telco and the N85/6 is seen as a good handset (better than the N96/7 in terms of build etc.
Personally would go for the latest iPhone - camera a bit better (and lets be real here small lens and sensor mean that amount of megapixels becomes a bit of a d*** waving exercise with no massive gains - better off with a compact camera if you are really wanting to take piccies), internet is by far and away the best on any of the current crop of phones (connection is about the network not the phone and it sounds as tho she has the 1st Gen non 3G one). Usability second to none0 -
I worked in a phone shop. N95 was top line, the ones you list suggest your usage has dropped? C905, great phone, demand N97 and see what happenswinter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg

Not worried about Sportstracker - have a Garmin Edge 705 for that.
O2 doesn't seem to offer the latest phones straight away, although I popped into the shop today to get a pay as you go for my son - the choice in store is vast compared to online. Despite not wanting to go the iPhone route I may yet do, although the Sony Aino looked good also. Wifes iPhone is 3G (not the latest 3GS)
Re the camera - not a big photographer, just want something decent to take pics whilst out on the bike, or if we go away for the weekend without having to carry a digital camera about.
Useage is the same - pay a £30 contract, use less than half my call/text allowance :oops:Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos0 -
i've got the n86 as i wanted a phone with a decent camera. I'm very happy with it and it takes good photos that are every bit as good as my camera. Easy to use plus has wi fi for internet. Got it on orange for £20 a month via beepy.comIf suffer we must, let's suffer on the heights. (Victor Hugo).0

iPhone camera isn't the best, but you can get some pretty decent shots from it... Examples of quick shots...
I think if you're planning on printing any photo's bigger than A5 size, then you should get another phone, but aside that, the iPhone is by far the best gadget let alone phone you can get right now.0
