Does anyone know if Renthal Moto X grips will fit MTB bars ?

Unlikely as they make MTB/BMX ones.

also MX ones dont actually fit on the bars but on the throttle assy. Even though the grip area is the same diameter."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

yeah i think you guy's are right i think i'll give it a skip ! just that i used these grips when i rode MX and like the rubber compound and the half waffle on them , just cant seem to find any MTB ones that may be of similar quality/compound oh well the search goes on .0
