Im using the bike to work scheme and want to upgrade from my ClaudButler Rouibax (SP)
I also need a car rack and mud guards so my budget for the bike is really about £600-£700 as will need to spend about another £80 or so on the bike rack etc.
The 2 best stores my way are --

What would you buy? Or can you see any thing else that would be better for me? I get so confussed with all the different bits n bobs... My knowledge goes as far as knowing Tiagra is better than Sora and thats about it!!!
Im not going to be racing or any thing, will be used for pleasure rides around the 40-90 mile mark.
Again, sorry for doing this, I hoped i never would but really want to get the best for my buck!!!
