Hi,
I am interested in buying the Deda Black Force 4 for a new roadie I am building...I confess that the reason for this fork is part price (£79 GBP) and part looks...well to be honest that is all I have to go on.
So that's why I decided to quiz you lot and see if any of you have any advice about this item?
Thx in advance

Most carbon forks about that money tend to be heavy - 500-600g and will probably perform much the same as each other so I'd get the ones you like the look of or goes with your bike best. An alternative worth considering ITM 4 Ever carbon forks as they are similar money but weight around 400-450g with a carbon steerer - checkout ebay. I'm considering these for my bike as it's not an expensive one.
The other thing I'm considering is getting Easton EC90 SL forks weight around 330g for £187 on Chain Reaction. They are too good for my existing bike but can be used on a future bike too.Kev

Merlin Cycles have the EC90 SLX for £180. Mine weighs 300g cut. You'll find the SL will probably be a bit more than 330g.

oops listed on Chain reaction as 340g for the SL, think thats 'around 330g'
I'm pretty sure the OP will not be looking at these though but for the same money as the Deda's he could save 100 to 150g by getting the ITM forks with probably the same performance - no brainer to meKev

Cheers for the input, I think I will go for the Deda one's, although Kev is right...I should be going for the ITM's
The only reason for the Deda one's is that I have Deda carbon rearstay's which are called "Blacktail 2" (couldn't work out how to add a picture to show them off)...the Deda black force 4 match perfectly (I know, I know, I am a tart!)
Cheers for the info fella's!
