yessssss!!
Jus got back, won gold in the points, silver in the srint just behind Steve Clayton. So two endurance riders got to the final of the sprint .
\\\\also silver in team pursuit so good fist day.
All the trips to Newport last few weeks and late season start paid off I guess, bring on the worlds next year!!

here they are.
I did thus with about 6 weeks training properly, with not as much track time or road as I would have liked.
I am going to target the worlds and europeans next year.
Made a few riders take notice after the points race as I am realtively unknown as I have not done the BCF masters before as it is only my 3rd year back
This was a very good tournament this year very well organised by Mike Amery and with a very good standard of riders this year.

Lol I waws wonderiing why you were'nt there ALso Ivor and Jim but guess Jim was wathcing Jess.
You can teach me how to start a TT. I did 54.2 off a 22.4sec opening lap!!0 -
Jim was in Manchester all weekend - we were chatting and wondering what had been going on in the sprints - now we know!
Ivor has probably not been back from Oz long and I suspect his season is done after the World Masters.
I'll have to get to a Vets session at Newport soon and we can have a chat about the TT - I wish that I had been able to do one TT season without having to contend with illness (at the Nat Masters) or injury (at the Euros)!!! I move up an age cat next year so it will be the 500 for me.I’m a sprinter – I warmed up yesterday.0 -
