There was a thread on Gent-Wevelgem moving already but the useless search tool on here fails to deliver once more. Anyway, it's just been announced that Gent-Wevelgem will return to being 250 kms in length next season;

For me that's a great move, we'll now have three Sundays in succession with full length cobbled classics. Magic. :D

    That rocks - if cycling is going to get more and more specialized and split between Classics and GT specialists then make all those races 250+ - hope Fleche Wallonne is next :D

    What's going to happen with the 3 Days of Panne?

    There's a date clash between the 2 races unless it gets moved.

    No there's not. G-W will be on the last Sunday in March, De Panne runs from Tuesday to Friday, then Flanders is on the first Sunday in April.

    There is an issue though; The E3 Prijs Harelbeke and Brabantse Pijl/Fleche Brabanconne were in that weekend. One of them has to make room for Gent Wevelgem, and might clash with De Panne replaced to the regular semi-classic Wednesday.
