getting back in the saddle

Hi everyone

I'm 39 this year im 6ft2" and weigh 17 stone and allready have a mountain bike when i was younger i used to a fair bit of off road biking and alot of road riding i used to be able to cycle up a pretty steep hill out of the saddle all the way to the top and would like to get back a fairly good level of fitness i have access to loads of fields very nearby the roads by me are pretty hilly too much for someone wanting to get back into cycling and i would love some help with a beginners training plan how much to do and when to rest etc.
