Hope Tech 2 brakes

I've tried bleeding the rear brake today and followed the Hope website vid.
Unfortunately the result aint the same!
I did it 3 times and by the last attempt there was no air coming through the bleed pipe so i thought i'd cracked it!
Put it all back together to find the brake as spongy as ever. Anyone had any probs with these brakes, or any suggestions? I did the front braked about 6 months ago without any issues.

so have you reset the pistons? are the pistons moving a lot? is the rotor being moved?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Yeah i did the pistons and they are both moving well and equally. After the third attempt i pushed the lever to the bars a lot (temper temper!) and it seemed to work better. But after leaving it for a couple of mins it was back to sponge city.
Why is it such a simple job etc etc!!!!
They are only 6 months old an all0
