on-one and fork dilemma

Ordering parts this wkend for custom build but unsure whether to get inbred or 456 and then which fork. I plan on using it for general trail riding. My fork budget is 300 so was looking at the revelations from on one for 275 if I go 456, however if I go for the inbred I'd want a uturn fork but cannot find anything other than the heavy recon 351 within my budget. Any ideas/suggestions??

you don't want u-turn on an inbred. They're nicest at 100mm but far too slow at 130 and really twitchy at 80mm.
I'd say for trail riding with drops, jumps and crashing then go for the 456 with ideally u-turn revs. Utter hooligan of a ride, mine is calling to me for a ride from the far side of the office.0 -
Problem then is getting u turn revs for under 300 or maybe 2nd hand talas is the way forward.0

I'd go for second hand rev-u-turn, far less temperamental and less fussy about serviceing.0

Is uturn necessary if there is lockout for climbing? Blue 456 it is then!0

yes, u-turn is necessary unless you set it around 125mm. At 140 the front end will lift up on steep climbs. Last night it was lifting even at 125mm with me sitting right on the nose of the saddle and my elbows tucked right in and down.0

Cheers for that! Glad I asked, handy having on-one users on here!0

Poploc cannot lock the fork out part way through travel then?? Getting uturn is so much more expensive0

... otherwise winstanleys do the 110-1140 u turn for £345 and with pushloc for £3590
