Ok not to open the old debate of campag vs shimano but where does centaur sit when compared to shimnano groupsets? I like the shifting and the hoods of the campag shifters but I'm just not sure where they sit compare to the shimano range i.e. what would be the comparitive groupset in terms of performance.

Centaur can shift multiple gears up and down, which Shimano doesn't do, so Centaur sits just above Dura Ace, shifting wise.

Centaur is commonly seem an equivalent to Ultegra though.
