Just a quick one!
How come Gary Fisher bikes don't seem to get much coverage on here?
There are a lot of recommendations for Specialized, GT, Giant, Orange etc etc but not a lot for Gary Fisher, is there any particular reason for this?
cheers

Slightly over priced, and G2 geometry puts people off, especially when after market upgrades are concerned.0

Bloody good bikes though IMOAdam.
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
Current ride - Yeti ASR 5a X00 -
This may sound like a stupid newbie question (i suppose that's because it is) but what is g2 geometry?0

Gary Fisher are moving over to 29er's for 2010 leaving Trek to do the 26er's.
Hence not much coverage. 29ers are the future
BTW I've one of these on order and hopefully over here by Christmas http://www.fisherbikes.com/bike/model/rumblefish-ii0 -
monster truck bikes! Made for crushing cars, and roling over when racing round an oval on an (american) football field0

Very nice too - I've got a demo ride on one in a few weeks, but will be most likely buying a paragon or xcaliber

Have to disagree on the overpriced bit - been comparing them with giant and Iona and spec levels are higher for equivalent models0

I bought a 2010 Hoo Koo E Koo recently, its bloody brilliant, I'm over the moon with it and really like the ride position. Its a great bike!0

I have found that Gary fisher don't get much coverage, I stuggled to find a bike store up my neck of the woods that sold them in the end I got my 2009 Big Sur Ht from peddalon near Reading.
I found that for just over a grand it wasnt badly specced, juicy 5's fox forks and a mixture of XT and SLX. Wheels and tyres were crap though.
I really like the bike after a few minor changes and it goes like a rocket up hills. the only gripe I have is that its only got 80mm travel, could do with an extra 10mm added.
