Cheap suntour steel cassette - heavy but lastability?

I was going to buy an SRAM 970 9 speed cassette for my MTB (which is what it has currently).
Saw suntour do one made from steel for only £15.
Lastability is more important than weight - will the cheap suntour last longer than a fancy, light one by virtue of it being steel?
