Comfy running shoes & Hallux Rigidus - any recommendatio

I've always run in Asics GT2XXX but thinking of trying out one of the other brands in preparation of my 1st half marathon. After some research the Brooks Adrenaline, Adidas Supernova, Nike Triax or Saucony Omni all appear to be good contenders for an alternative...

Any recommendations from fellow sufferers out there ???
