For the first time ever I managed to go round my local route in the wet, through the clay bits without my wheels grinding to a halt as they morph into 2 huge clay doughnuts.

The only reason I can find are the specialized resolution tyes I've got fitted. It's never happened with anything else.
Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

Who are you calling inbred?

I had the same problem with some Panny Fire XCs. Wouldn't have been so bad if I then didn't have to sling the bike over the shoulder - the clay had completely jammed them against the frame - and walk over a mile, through gloop, to the nearest road.
