Hi Guys,

I have just bought a new bike fitted with these. They look sh!t, but have not had a chance to bed them in yet to see how they feel.

Are they as bad as they look?

They need constant fettling as they are single piston hydraulics, the same as most cable disc brakes, so the static pad needs adjusting frequently (in my experience)

They are ugly as sin but when they are bedded in and adjusted properly they will stop you ok. You need to take an allen key with you to adjust the static pad screw a multi tool wont do it the wheel spokes get in the way. A mates son has them on his GT and once he had junked the original pads for some Superstar pads they worked fine.
