wasdale-lakes district-ride suggestion please?

i am in wasdale in the lakes this weekend, has anyone a suggestion for a 2hr ride in the area ?(riding before climbing scarfell pike)

i have found a ride/loop of 16 miles which is a bit short but dont know if it will be rideable this time of year : Wasdale Head - Netherbeck - Haycock - Lingmell - Gillerthwaite - Black Sail Hut - Black Sail Pass - Wasdale Head.

any suggestions would be great.

    I've walked in the area. Is it Wasdale head your staying? Right up the top end of Wast Water lake?

    Its a bit of a scamble with bike on your back to get up over Black Sail pass but the down hill into Wasdale is execllent

    I've stayed there a few times at wasdale head near the pub. Took the bikes on one occasion but never got the chance to ride. Some of the walks I have done up there looked like a good ride.

    The pub does some cracking homebrew :wink::wink:
