I think the point they're making is that don't go thinking its some kind of super tubing just cos it has a reynolds badge...0

That's not the point at all. 520 is a plain gauge tubing IIRC, the on one stuff is made of a similar steel (ie a 5 series one) but is butted to make it feel much more lively.0

520 and DN6 are both the same steel, ie cromoly 4130. 520 is simply the reynolds brand name for it and DN6 is on ones name for it. 520 can be butted. DN6 is custom butted to on ones exact measurements thats all...
I've just ordered an inbred and I'm in no doubt its a decent material...0
