you move the chain stay protector. But why do you have it on as there is no way the chain will hit it is there?

and i bet the hands dont freeze to the bars anymore

Thats right - lack of bar tape and new brake lever fitted on Sunday....plus the chainstay protector had slipped down the chainstay....keeps it clean from oil when I take the wheel off!

It's a very nice bicycle by the way. What frame is it?

How do you get on with the charge spoon? There will be one on my plug when I get it, and I'm hoping (perhaps in vain, given my big fat arse) that I won't have to change it to something orthopoedic looking, which will make the bike look rubbish.

My Spoon is brilliant, can't fault it apart from the small rip I've got on the back.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

1982 Barron TT frame made for Barry Frow originally. I used it for TT racing and then as a single speed before going fixed with it.
Charge Spoon is fine - no issues, most distance I have done on that bike is 25 miles as the position is quite extremem being a TT frame. My preference for any "big" distance is a Specialized Tri Tip.

The Barron is about 7kg in weight.....bloody light!

Are you going to put bar end-caps on it? Rain could be an issue unless it's fair weather use only, or you want to drill drainage holes in the bar

I did not think of that......Must have been dreaming about a warm climate again! Will do!
