I gave some money to a wildlife charity the other day, because apparently animals in Africa need protecting.

So I turned on the television and saw them all eating each other. :roll:

What a con.

    you must have been easy prey! its like all those people who know about the plight of the lesser spotted owl and don't give a hoot about it, But, back to the lions again, I did see a lion in a very stylish hat the other day - he was a dandy lion. And evil wildebeests are bad gnus.....

    I was in the Pet Shop the other day, and I had to decide between buying a Buffalo and Bison.

    At the zoo where I sometimes work the lions have an old safari style landrover to play with. I occasionally tell young visitors that lions are really quite good drivers, so long as they stick to the mane road. Usually they don't laugh, strangely.
