2010 range of Helmets

Was in my LBS t'other day and the guy mentioned that the 2010 range of helmets from Giro, Uvex, Bell et al will be out soon. He avised me to hold off on a new helmet if I was looking at a Giro Atmos or Uvex FP1 because the current range will be cheaper when the 2010 ones hit the shops. I've not seen hide nor hair of a 2010 range of helmets; is he talking nonesense or has anyone else heard of the '10 range out soon? I've taken a particular shine to the Uvex FP1 in FDJ colours recently and there's an ebay seller doing it new for £74 plus postage. I'd be sick if I bought it only to find it cheaper in weeks few becuase it's suddenly became the previous years model. :evil:

    Quite a few stores list 2010 helmets - so I think he knows what he's talking about. Mind you if you are after a team version - the kits won't be out til the new year and only available to us a few weeks later. Buy your fdj hat now if you like but I doubt it will be current next season.

    I was holding off buying a new Giro helmet, because I thought the new Prolight would mean lower pricing for the Ionos and Atmos. That doesn't seem to have happened, though, with 2010 prices for those models staying at the same price.
