AVID DIY bleed kit/ can i just top up the lever resevoir?

iv asked befor but got little responce, how can i bleed my brakes without buying a fliping 40 quid kit, and quickly please, im catching a train at 4 to go on a trip for the WKend to Brechfa.brakes that work would be,err, nice!
even just improving them would be good, they are MEGA spongy! can i top up the lever resevoir? having forced all the bubbles by holding the lever on and tapping everything.

    ok, o know you said that, but i wasent sure how to make one, i never saw yoohoos coment, i dont have time to make one now, so will toping up the resevoir make any dif?

    As a quick and general comment, if you have air in the lines / system, then topping up (if there is any space to do so), won't make any difference.

    A bleed is needed, however you choose to do it.
