Hello all

I am in the market for a pair of winter bib tights and a wind proof jacket. I have come up with the following bib tights and notice that the 'ARAI' bibs are on offer with a Santini 'SOLE' jacket.

Whats the difference between the bib shorts?Has anyone got these items and would they recomend them?

Thanks in advance

    About a tenner :D

I think it's just to design and cut - Santini stuff is quite good - not quite in the same league as Assos and Castelli in terms of quality and durability, but good all the same
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Santini stuff is great, I would rate it in the same league as my Castelli stuff or may be even better as their bib shorts fit like a glove (at least that's IMO).

I have never tried Assos but why should I if the stuff from Santini feels wonderful and it is half the price? :)

As far as bibs are concerned, IMHO you're not missing much.

+1 I have Santini Storm twist gel bib tights and they're superb. Also have a Santini windproof winter jacket (not the one mentioned here) and it's amazingly windproof and warm

    my santini shorts are great.

theyre a bit short though so i struggle to wear them with knee warmers and the bibs are a bit short as well. i went on their size guide and got the size smaller than usual and had to send them back in favour of my usual size.

    Just to update you all......

Bought a pair of Santini 'Aria' bib tights from Prendas. Tried them out this weekend on a 30 mile ride and they are superb, I would recommend them and Prendas to anyone. Thanks all for your help in making my choice :)
