I've just bought a S-Works roubaix SL 07 (over the moon) and the bike came with these wheels on it ;-
http://www.topolinotech.com/products/cx20.php
both wheels are in immaculate condition and with a only a few 100 miles on them.
im wondering if they are any good as their american made and rarely seen in the UK.
im also wondering if to sell them and revert back to what the bike would have originally been sold with which were "Mavic Ksyrium ES" .
i do have some mavic krysium elite 07's black (very well looked after) on my old allez 07 so im wondering if there any better if to swap them onto the S-Works and sell the topolino's.
my biggest fear with the topolino's are the kevlar /carbon forks , they seem to be glued into place and not something i could replace so maintance cost would seem to be high.
any advice would be greatly appreciated.

AFAIK nobody distributes them here - Paligap might have tried a few years ago, but they tend to over-price everything so proably killed any demand dead. Never quite understood the benefits from them, apart from a materials science research project - but when the spokes go wrong, it's seriously messy and you have to send them back to the US - a serious PITA.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

I think now you can FIX them yourself, should a spoke break. Of course this FIX involves
buying and installing a whole new right or left side of the wheel(partial hub and all of that sides spokes) then re truing. Sounds wild and expensive but then again getting some of the other top line wheels fixed ain't cheap or easy either. I've always wanted a set, although I'm not sure why. Price is not overly outrageous. In line with other top wheels.
I like the idea of the spokes running through the hub from rim to rim. At the very least it's out of the box thinking. Maybe I like them for the science project, like you said. Have seen a few pairs out there but not talked to anyone who has owned them.0 -
