Hi,

My previous road bike was a Giant OCR 2 Compact frame Top tube 55.5cm Size Medium (54cm seat tube C-T).

I'm looking to buy a Deda Nero RC frame from Ribble but i'm a little unsure what the equivalent compact medium frame size is. Is it the Large (56cm Seat tube C-T, 55cm Top tube ) or the Medium (51cm seat tube C-T, 53.5cm top tube)?

Any help would be awesome. My inside leg length is 80cm (31.5inches) and i'm 177cm tall (5'9")

Cheers
Jim

Top tube is the most important measurement so if you were happy with the sizing of the Giant then go for a frame with a similar top tube length.
  • Hi, so does a compact frame have a bottom bracket 2cm higher than traditional frame i.e shorter seat tube? Or is it shorter from the seat post clamp position?
