My first hardtail!

My entry into the world of mountain biking... Pinnacle Peak 4.0 2009. Recommended to me as a great value entry-level hardtail by my friendly Evans staff. The price point was originally £700, reduced down to £550, but thanks to a generous discount I got it for £385.
It's my first ever proper MTB and I'm so chuffed with it, took it out for my first trip to Dalby forest and I was impressed with how light and responsive it felt. Only came off it once on my first red run!
This pic is ripped from the Evans site, because I'm not a very good photographer!
This is MINE, round the back of work after having some flat pedals fitted.
I'm still learning all the techy stuff about bikes as I started this hobby a few weeks ago from scratch, so all of the specs are pulled straight from the Evans catalogue, apart from the pedals which they gave to me to replace the clipless ones it came with. So apologies if it sounds a bit like a sales pitch!
