is it possibke to fit a front mech to a GT Lobo?

Anyone tried to fit a BB nounted front mech onto a Lobo to run dual chainring. I want to convert my trusty stead for freeride use but now quite sure how successful it would be.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Should be ok, but cable routing could be problematic.

The frame has the guides that seem to serve a front mech but none was ever provided on the frame so that's why I was really confused. I have never seen a Lobo with front mech but really want to convert for freeride use.
