Marcel Wust reviewed the gorgeous Look 595 in Cofidis team colours in this months issue of Pro Cycling. Does anyone know if this bike is available in the UK? I've looked on various websites (including Look's own site) and none of the bikes are in Cofidis colours

Here's one - choose Team Replica in "colour"

  • So what does big Marcel say about the 595 then?

So what does big Marcel say about the 595 then?

    What he always says.

"Its the best bike I've ridden since the last one, I can make the front of it flex, there's something wrong with the tubs (oh, it hasn't tubs? well, if it had, they wouldnt be glued on properly), Campag is the best, Shimano is the best, have you seen my collection of sleeveless jerseys?"

At least Millar and Boardman used to occasionally say something bad - can't be good for advertising revenue, though

Seriously, though, it's a Look 595. Perhaps the reason he doesn't feel the need to say anything bad is because it's a good bike.

I think it is and fairly rare on these shores. I've plenty of Pinerellos and Cervellos but never seen a 595 out on the road. I must have one

Gave up years ago reading the ProCycling reviews - have they ever given a bad review? Seems they're more concerned about not upsetting their advertisers than providing an objective assessment - half the reviews alway talk about the groupset, which is kinda pointless when the last 5 test bikes all came with the same kit.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Let's face it, many of these bikes are so similar it's impossible for him to keep coming up with real differences. They are usually expensive and good bikes...

JE James and Fatbirds (their ebay shop, last time I looked) have deals on the 595. Not in Cofidis colours, but still very very nice.
