Im going to selling my Specialized Roubaix Elite very soon. Im wondering whether or not to sell the bike with the standard wheelset on and sell my Open Pro/Duracehub/prorace3 shod wheels separately, or sell it as a complete package.

Has any body got any experience with a similar sale and have any advice?

Definitely split down - may be worth selling the frame and parts separately too - whatever you do, don't combine better parts, you'll never recoup the premium. When selling complete bikes, I always check what spare parts I have and swap them out to keep the better ones too.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
  • Thanks for the replies fellas.

I upgraded the own brand brakes to Ultegra as soon as I got the bike as well, but Im not sure I want to be bothered swapping them back. I'll give it all a clean and service, get the original wheels on and get it advertised I think. Hoping for around £600-£700 and £150 upwards for the wheels.
