    got the manual?

No! then download it from srams webby.

add air to get the sag you want.

  • got the info, but it does not say how to set up for different weights, thats what i wanted to know,

also should it of come with a pump.

You inflate until the shock sags into its travel when you sit on the bike (or stand rather) - 25% is a good starting point.

Weight is only a guide - Rockshox cannot possibly know what bike or what kind of suspension design its shocks end up being attached to. http://www.sram.com/_media/techdocs/06R ... nglish.pdf . Page 5 tells you all you need to know.

Also, as Super says, you need to set the pressure to get the required Sag, rather than your weight.

You do not always get a shock pump with a new bike - they cost less than 20 notes anyway.
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.
