this may be deleted but im just after a quick heads up on whether Winstanleys Bikes is reputable? and whether there postal is any good? ive heard mixed reports.

I've had things off them in the past and found nothing wrong with the service. And I've always found the sales pretty much on the ball and helpful, and I've returned an item and been refunded - and had the postage refunded by them. All that was pretty prompt and hassle free too.

But I've never bought a full bike or anything.

And you'll find they will order things that are out of stock for you when you call.

Google Winstanley bikes and sit back. They seem to have enough problems getting stuff to you that is in stock, yet alone the stuff that isn't.

They are absolutely fine providing the item is in stock. If it's out-of-stock, forget it.

And yet they bent over backwards to get some Giant accessories for me - the stuff wasn't even listed on the site - but I phoned, they checked if they could get it, turns out they could and it arrived a week later. I was in no rush so wasn't bothered by that.

having said that, 9/10 if something isn't in stock one place you can usually pick it up somewhere else for roughly the same price if you really try.

i found the saddle on wiggle so will just get from there

i know some people have had good experiences with them but its too mixed. and i need the saddle soonish without hassle
