Might be getting one on crash replacement scheme, so I went down to my LBS and tried one on, its comfortable enough, but looks pretty flimsy - might just be because its so light.

Do you like yours?

Certainly prefer mine to my Giro Havoc which is the other helmet I have, it does cost twice as much though. The 2D is light, well ventilated and fits my head well so ideal. I wouldn't say it's flimsy either, mines had a lot of use (both MTB and road) and has held up fine, I actually run the whole thing under a tap when cleaning it rather than just taking the pads out to and it hasn't delaminated or anything.

Didn't know you could swap models in a crash replacement scheme though, how much are they charging? I did write off one 2D in a superman into a wall incident and was £50 to replace that under the scheme, that's like with like though.

Anyway if it's comfy on you then IMO get one, I can't see you regretting it.

Cannot fault mine. It's so light you barely know you are wearing it.

As of yet I thankfully do not know what it's like protection wise
  • I was going to get one, but got the Met Kaos UL instead, a better helmet imo - more protection, super light, comfy and looks great too!

Based on what exactly are you saying more protection?
