The time has come....

Comparing this forum to others on the Internet, it seems that most people on here are sane, fairly well-balanced form opinions based on evidence, and are flexible enough to change their minds when need be. Generally we can discuss things without getting overly-personal. There is a wide variety of experience and knowledge on the forum.
So, I've come to the conclusion that we are the intellectual elite of this country, and the time has probably come for the Cake Stop to stage a coup d'etat, bringing sanity and justice to our Isles.
Aux armes les citoyens!

It is rare for a forum to have balanced, open minded discussions isn’t it? Anyone else remember the old C+ ‘Soapbox’ section? I only lurked back then. It was f*cking feral…0

The level of discourse on an internet forum directly correlates to the number of Daily Mail links that get posted. Fact. Someone should plot a graph.0

Surely that should be ''cycloyens.''
There actually is the beginnings of a French vélorutionary version of the Marseilaise
Mugir ces féroces bagnoles!
Qui viennent jusque sur nos grolles.
Ecraser nos filles et nos compagnes!
Aux Armes cycloyens!

Some of the motorcycle forums can get pretty heavy.
I know of at least one where a thread got out of control with 2 guys being really abusive to each other and a fight ensued when they met at a track day!0 -

Media Secretary for me, please, not that I'd be wishing to use the post to drive any newspapers in particular out of business ("Taxi for Dacre!")
Oh, and there'd be a much-needed amendment to the BBC's Royal Charter forbidding the employment of talentless, salad-dodging Leeds United supporters as DJs.

Minister for Smut please - ensuring a good number of ribald posts each day (in accordance with EU Filth Policies). Todays "S'ex' Factor" thread fulfils the criteria perfectly - well done chaps!0

Who cares what post they have, as long as its fully expensed we can all expect at least a trebling of our salaries.
Or are you saying that this incoming BR administation would be of such probity and selflessness that we'd abolish the gravy train?
If so you can stick your job.Where the neon madmen climb0 -

Nah, but like all trains we'd have to ensure it had decent cycle provision.
