    Brought into clean up Festina after the scandal, he managed the small "Mutelle Seine et Marne" team that rode the Tour in the mid 90s once or twice. Not much else.

    He managed Angel Casero when he won the Vuelta, some of you might remember tapped phone calls involving "special cranks" for Casero.

    Above all, he's French so the hope is that he can convince ASO.
