Gloves? (more specifically from Dakine)
http://www.dakine.com/bike/gloves/girls-cross-x/

I won some and they want to know what size I need but Im confused.
The arrow shows measuring just the palm BUT the instructions say measure the circumference which means all the way round.

Measuring the circumference gives me a L but normally I have a S size glove.
If I measure just my palm like the red arrow I get a XS or S size.

Can anyone clarify?

Cheers

Go to a shop and try a few on. I have small girly hands, and simply do not wear bike gloves.

Glove size is measured around the knuckles of an open hand in inches. inches = glove size

Unfortunately there isn't a stockist near me and as I won them I dont get to try them first.

    - this isnt the same as in the chart Dakine have on their website though - is this standard? Gives me yet another measurement / glove size

I like ladies who are about 5 feet to 5'6" tall. Hoe do I get the right size? with a handful of rohypnol, a few large sacks, and some time spent sorting the ones to release back into the wild from the "keepers"

The arrow shows you where to measure round your hand.

As for getting the right size ladies, become a sports coach.
  • How many inches are you measuring to? The ladies large is like a medium mens, but if you're a 7.5, you'd be at the higher end of the mens small size. Are the gloves you normaly have mens or ladies small?

The size guide looks fine to me, I measure 8.5 and usually go for medium in mens size gloves, coz I don't want the fingers flapping about.

Have checked with the supplier now and it seems I need a Large as its 20cm all the way round my hand where the arrow is.

Still slightly surprised as normally I have a Small mens (and occasionally XS depending on the brand).

Now fingers crossed they actually turn up in the post!!

Are the traps baited with shoes or handbags?

    Depends where your're from.

If its blackpool all you need is a kebab and a pack of fags.

Down this way if you've got a really big trap all you need is one handbag. Come the morning you'll be amazed how many women are dancing around it!
