    not crazily enthusiastic though! I suspect he means

    We can only exclude teams, and not riders, and it would out of order to ban contador's team when he's defending champion twice, so I'm resigned to having Vino around as the price for letting Alberto ride.

    If Alberto escapes the Kazakhs, watch Prudhomme change his tune...

    Some Kazakh sources have reported that this is confirmed. Maybe it is a liitle more than just wishful thinking?

    He's served his time and though he's not likely to be a contender for overall he'll liven up the race - I hope he's there.

    There's no reason why he shouldn't - there have been plenty before him who have gone on to the ride the Tour after finishing their suspensions.
