I'm looking to buy some sort of winter training aid be it some rollers or a turbo trainer. Any advice will be welcome. A lot of my riding is commuting. Usually about a 26 mile round trip with a good mixture of hills and flat. I need something that will keep me up to speed.

Turbo - rollers are fine for warm-ups and fast cadence drills, but lack of variability makes them limited for all-round training.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

I should let the pair of you try my E-Motion rollers or even my old Tacx T1200s fitted with a resistance unit which will pretty quickly avail you of this point of view.
    I’m a sprinter – I warmed up yesterday.
