Topeak light rant!...(Now sorted)

Bought a Topeak 'RedLite' a few days ago.
Decided to put it on the bike now, opened the box, tipped out all the bits, opened the battery compartment to put the second battery in (!)... and a little 'L' shapeed piece of metal fell out, too!
Can't fathom out which way it should be, in the light and, yes, Halfords are now f*ckin' closed :evil: :evil: :twisted:

Calm down...
I had the same problem recently, but had a spare light in the shed.
The L shape go's into the cap rather than the light the lower part of the L next to the pin on the cap, the bump on the lower part of the L facing down, simplez.
Having re-read that not so sure how simplez it is.

it's a decent light too - very neat and bright with it.
that said, napd was possibly right about the smart 1/2 watt - it's in a different league - I have both..
