Overtaken by a pro racer today - who could it have been?

Hi All,
I was cycling earlier this afternoon on the main road between Coombe Hill and Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire. First of all I was overtaken by a car sporting "London to Paris 2009", then a very pro looking cyclist in time trial gear and a L2P jersey following behind. (I was going about 23mph, they must have been about 26mph). Then another car, with four road bikes on top of it.
Any idea who it could have been? Is there a race going on or would they have just been training?
Thanks,
James.

That'll probably be James Cracknell and team who are trying to set a team record for LEJOG this weekend. 2 of them have done London-to-Paris if you read the blurb.

Oh right thanks!
Uncanny, because a couple of days ago I was in the Cheltenham literature festival listening to them relating their trip to the South Pole.0
