How come Garmin aren't getting the same level of criticism that LA / Horner / Leipheimer got for gatecrashing a small-time regional race and steamrollering the local semi-pros?
I mean, no offence to the Sun Tour, I know it has a long history with some good past winners, but the quality of the field is not that different to the Nevada City Classic.

Tom Simpson won Paris-Nice.
Brian Robinson won the Dauphiné Libéré.
Malcolm Elliot won the Milk Race and the Sun Tour.
Cayn Theakston won the Volta ao Portugal.

Good for Wiggins... when was his first stage race of the season?? I like the guy more and more cause he raced all year, in classics, Giro-tour combo and raced into 3rd week of October.0
