Converting to Giant OCR to Cross

Hi guys,
I'm going to try and get into 'Cross racing this winter in the Scottish Cross series. I've got two bike si could do it on, my Giant OCR4 road bike and my Carrera Vulcan MTB. So while on the Road forums i thought i'd ask if anybody out there had any suggestions for converting my Road bike to Cross.
