Shimano Dure Ace Di2 shifters

No doubt this has been considered before.

Supposing I had a pair of the above shifters and was an electronics wheeze and had Campag on another of my bikes. Would it be possible to reprogram the 'Eprom' chip to shift the right amount for Campag?
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    Theoretically - probably, practically - no chance.

    Although it leads to an interesting question about how the di2 shifters and mechs are measuring chain/chainring/cog position and what variations they can deal with. Could it be possible to stick a campag-spaced cassette on there and have the system compensate for the difference? What about chainring spacing and triple ring options???
