Veloce 2006 or new?

I have my eye on a used Campagnolo Veloce 2006 groupset on ebay.Do you guys reckon I would be best off bidding on this and perhaps saving £150ish and maybe,further down the line purchasing some new Centaur levers.Or buying a brand new Veloce groupset?

EDIT just found out it's 2006,which is a bit of a turn off.

    The new Ergo levers are superior in feel and function IMO - unless you're saving a lot, get the new stuff - you can use the new levers with the old mechs, drivetrain and brakes, which could be a cost-effective compromise.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
