My next bike is a big investment and one of the bikes in the running is a Gary Fisher HiFi Pro 09 (26er) which can be picked up at the moment for a good price. I've heard a couple of recommendations on forums, anyone know of any reviews? I would like to take it out myself but there are no demo bikes to test. I think it would be a good choice but sounds like it is weak when it comes to downhill, not that I'd be doing anything too mental, but it sounds twitchy and don't want to hospitalise myself (a forth time)...

Anyone know of reviews? :?:

There are a few good deals still to be had on the Hifi Pro and it is a great investment :)

I've had mine for 5months now and have absolutely no complaints. Sorry, just the one, the tyres are crap and need changing asap!
The Hifi climbs brillianlty and the steering is very sharp with the G2 geometry. It takes a little getting used to as the front feels a little washy at first as if it wants to let go but change the tyres and it won't...ever.

Just back from a Wales trip and it coped really well with Whites at Afan, the only thing that held it back was me!
